This is a cute story about a gardening goat. Each page has a “g” sound to help your child practice. The illustrations are adorable, too.

Gary the Goat is a super cute character. He is trying to keep his garden beautiful but nothing works! Great book to practice reading for beginners.
I loved the illustrations of the little goat and his garden. I liked the fact that the story reinforces the /g/ sounds from page to page to help the phonological processing of that sound. I would use this book in my speech therapy sessions to interact with my younger students.

A really simple, but cute book that helps children to learn the sound of the letter G. The story is funny, and the repetition is a great addition for allowing young children the opportunity to join in. The illustrations are lovely. A lovely book for very young children/early readers.

This children’s book is one that made me smile on a bad mental health day. What drew me to purchasing this book was the character on the cover. It reminded me so much of a character in Animal Crossing, and after meeting Gary the Goat in this story he is definitely a villager I’d love to have on my island.
